What Aneeta brings to the table
Aneeta is a storyteller with serious design chops. She writes the scenarios, characters and consequences that make learners stop, think and choose differently. Then she brings them to life as podcasts, videos, serious games and branching eLearning that people remember long after. On the toughest topics, she’s the designer you want in your corner. Her trauma-informed approach and SAFE Learning Design Framework build capability without causing harm, and she co-designs with subject matter experts, frontline practitioners and First Nations contributors. She can also give existing content a second life in new formats for new audiences. Aneeta brings structure and momentum to every project, so your learning arrives on time and fits the flow of work.
Experience and qualifications
Aneeta founded her own instructional design consultancy in 2012 and has worked with government, financial services, not-for-profit and community services organisations across Australia. There she designed a serious game for Westpac that won three national training awards, including the 2021 AITD Award for Best Use of Gamification. She has won LearnX Platinum Awards in several years. She was also a finalist in the Walkley Foundation’s 2017 Our Watch Awards, which recognise reporting on violence against women. Aneeta holds a Bachelor of Arts (Media and Cultural Studies) from Macquarie University and a Master of Letters (Visual Culture) from CQUniversity. She also serves on the board of Rosie’s Place, which supports children and families affected by violence.
