Michael Peart, Managing Partner at Hungry Minds

What Michael brings to the table

Michael sees the big picture and the hidden gaps. He translates complex business challenges into practical, scalable learning that moves your people and your performance. A career running businesses and HR teams means he speaks your executives’ language. He builds learning around the results they care about, from revenue to service standards.

He’s a seasoned leader of complex change, bringing people, process and technology together across multiple sites. He leads a team of learning designers, graphic designers and videographers, and he keeps your project on time and on budget. Because he oversees every project we take on, your program benefits from everything that has worked before it. He’s always hungry for new tech, too, so if a tool can lift your program, he’s already testing it.

Experience and qualifications

Michael brings 25 years in senior HR, organisational development, learning, sales and general management roles, so he gets the business pressure behind your program. He was Executive General Manager at the Victorian Employers’ Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VECCI), running its training, membership and HR consulting businesses. He has also been Group Human Resources Manager at Village Roadshow and a Senior Learning Consultant at Kangan Institute.

Michael holds a Master of Business (Human Resources) from Swinburne University of Technology, plus qualifications in training and assessment. He added a Graduate Diploma in Employment and Labour Relations Law at the University of Melbourne.
