For mature organizations, every touchpoint—from the initial interview email to the first performance review—is a chance to embed belonging, clarity, and purpose.

 

An induction checklist is a well-planned list of activities for a new starter to complete. It covers basics such as how lunch hours work as well as formal activities such as how to submit expenses. It doesn’t cover tasks that need to be done by the employee’s manager before the new employee arrives.

A clear induction process helps employees transition to their new work in their new company. Onboarding helps these employees adapt to their new place and co-workers. On top of that they help these new recruits be familiarize with the organization and what is expected from them.
